Dry Needling: Release Trigger Points, Relieve Chronic Pain

Thin needles target trigger points in tight muscles to release tension and relieve chronic pain, fast results for muscular pain.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is an advanced technique that uses thin, sterile needles to target trigger points, areas of tight muscle causing pain and restricting movement.

A trigger point is a knot of muscle that's tight and tense. When you press on it, you feel pain. When a needle is inserted into the trigger point, it causes a small controlled "micro-injury" that releases the tension and allows the muscle to relax.

The needle is "dry" because no medication is injected, just the needle itself.

Dry Needling + Chiropractic = Faster Healing

Tight muscles pull vertebrae out of alignment. Chiropractic realigns the spine. But if the muscles remain tight, they pull the spine back out of alignment.

Dry needling releases the trigger points and muscle tension. This keeps your spine aligned and allows your body to maintain the benefits of chiropractic adjustment.

Together, they work faster and more effectively than either alone.

Who Should Get Dry Needling?

Dry needling is effective for:

  • Muscle tension and trigger points

  • Chronic muscle pain

  • Repetitive strain injuries

  • Sports injuries

  • Muscle tightness that won't respond to other treatments

  • Back pain

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Headaches caused by muscle tension

Anyone with muscle knots or trigger points can benefit from dry needling.
